Seahaus 75% Sold; Next Wave of Homes Coming This Weekend

07/04/2005

After just three months on the market, Seahaus is now 75 percent sold. The next wave of a wide variety of Seahaus homes is scheduled to be released this weekend (Saturday, July 24) at the condominium community being built by Barratt Urban Development and CLB Partners on a spectacular bluff overlooking the Pacific in the Bird Rock area of La Jolla.

According to Cynthia Monaco, sales and marketing director of Barratt Urban Development, 103 sales and reservations have been made since the first group of homes were released for sale in late April when Seahaus Shop, the communitys sales and information center, officially opened.

"Seahaus has proved to be the hottest commodity on the La Jolla real estate market and we expect terrific response to this next wave of homes," said Monaco. "There has been extremely high interest across the board among the diverse range of prices and floor plans available at Seahaus, from the lowest price level at The Studios to the highest at The Breakers, most providing spectacular ocean views."

Seahaus Shop, located across La Jolla Boulevard from Seahaus at the corner of Midway Street, features over $100,000 worth of computer animation programs that allow prospective homebuyers to visualize the stylish and elegant new seaside community in its final form. Seahaus Shop also includes a full-size kitchen and bathroom, an on-site interior design center and an upstairs wine bar for guests to relax on the second-story ocean-view deck.

A unique resort-style merchandising element is planned for Seahaus Shop, offering retail items for sale sporting the Seahaus logo, including luxurious bathrobes, t-shirts, tank tops, baseball caps, candles and bath salts.

Names may be added to the interest list and further information obtained by clicking onto seahaus.com or calling toll-free 1-866-SEAHAUS.

In the developers effort to provide a custom-level diversity, Seahaus presents 37 broadly varied floor plans, ranging from approximately 700 to 2,200 square feet. Two-story townhomes, large elegant flats, luxurious single-level oceanview condominium homes and sprightly loft studios have been offered in five distinct product lines: The Studios, The Rowhomes, The Colony, The Cottages and The Breakers, with prices ranging from the $400,000s to more than $1 million. First move-ins are anticipated at the end of the year.

A retail center and recreational amenities among carefully maintained grounds with several fountains are also a part of the plans. A swimming pool area offering changing rooms, a spa, a firepit, barbecue grills and a grassy area will be centrally located within the Seahaus community. Homeowners will also enjoy the ease and security of subterranean parking.
