1Mission is a mixed-use development comprised of 48 luxury condominiums, 13 townhomes, 8 affordable for-rent apartments, and over 20,000 square feet of retail and office space. The development is located in the prestigious community of Mission Hills and is being developed by CLB Partners. The design was awarded to the M.W. Steele Group, Inc. who has a successful history of working with community planning groups and the City of San Diego to produce award-winning developments.

This site is the gateway into the Mission Hills community, one of San Diego's most established neighborhoods, and currently home to several thriving office, restaurant and retail businesses, as well as existing multifamily housing. Behind a uniform facade and canopy that were altered in the fifties to unify a block known today as the Mission Hills Shopping Center, exist unique 1920s masonry and Spanish revival style structures. The intent is to bring back the rich fabric of historic retail storefronts, within the context of a pedestrian-friendly development.

The 1Mission site is designed to optimize both residential and commercial development along with the inclusion of a two-level subterranean parking garage. The thoughtful design maximizes the community atmosphere of the site by locating affordable housing side-by-side with market rate units. Townhomes will have entry porches on the public sidewalk for a true village experience. Commercial development at street level will enhance and expand merchandising opportunities and create a classic vision at the gateway to Mission Hills.
