1999 McKinney is a superior urban loft development in the Uptown District, just north of downtown Dallas. This upscale condominium community consists of 62 luxury loft homes with an average unit size of approximately 2,459 square feet. Each of the two-story homes features a spectacular view of the downtown Dallas skyline. The stair-step design of the red brick high-rise provides oversized private rooftop terraces for five homes on the upper floors.

CLB Partners formed a joint venture with Olympus Real Estate Corporation for the development of this project.  Construction began in August 2000.  Individual residences feature 20-foot double-insulated windows overlooking downtown, spacious balconies, hardwood floors, granite kitchen surfaces, stainless steel appliance packages, maple cabinetry throughout, a climate controlled 5’ by 8’ storage area, and large bathrooms with marble finishes, oversized showers and whirlpool tubs.  The buildings fourth floor features a saltwater pool and spa, firepit, barbeque area.  Other amenities include 24-hour security, two levels of structured, secured parking, on-site property manager, maintenance staff, and porter.

Situated on the northern edge of the Dallas Central Business District, the property is a 30,000-square foot site located at the southwest corner of McKinney Avenue and Harwood Street. Just south of The Crescent Office Building and Hotel, the community is within walking distance of the American Airlines Center, and the numerous restaurants, shops, galleries and theaters of the urban Uptown area. In addition, the McKinney Avenue Trolley runs directly in front of the building serving as an efficient connection to the amenities of The Arts District. And of course, the project is just minutes away from the employment base of downtown Dallas.

The real estate market of the Uptown area has evolved from primarily high-end rental units to direct ownership of condominiums and townhomes. CLB Partners’ experience with its first luxury loft development, 2011 Cedar Springs, indicated that the demand was strong for new-construction luxury lofts in the Uptown area. 1999 McKinney offered a new-construction, high-quality, competitively-priced option for the emerging residential demand on the north edge of downtown.
